What Is the Vermeer Studios?
The Vermeer Studios is a new business incubator at Trinity Christian College that will provide students and local entrepreneurs access to resources, mentorship, and physical space to accelerate their ideas and focus on pursuing business development and academic success.
Launching in a phased approach, we seek to offer these resources (see graphic) in the coming years. We encourage all who are interested to request information and learn more of how they can improve their businesses, and more importantly their lives through Vermeer Studios.
Vermeer Studios will provide a center for innovation, entrepreneurship, and community networking. It is tailored with seasoned professionals who will help you reach the next level in your life.
As we continue to navigate the road ahead, we seek to communicate our vision. Vermeer Studios is for all, whether faculty, students, alumni, or community members; we exist for your benefit.

What Is Available to Students?
Vermeer Studios is a Trinity-operated business incubator that seeks to connect Trinity students to the surrounding community. As a student, you are provided numerous opportunities to start your own business, find internships, participate in workshops, connect with mentors, network with community members, and much more.
Vermeer Studios is the place to be if you want to boost your career confidence, gain industry knowledge, or even make some extra money. Students have full access to the services provided, and are encouraged to take advantage of any of the following opportunities:
- Micro-Internships
- Internships
- Co-ops
- Attend workshops
- Participate in incubation & acceleration curriculum courses
- Start a business with guidance
- Compete for money for your existing or new business ideas
- Join an exciting business startup as a co-founder
- Access mentorships
- And much more!
These programs are uniquely designed to accommodate your rigorous schedules. You may find the opportunities that fit your needs and utilize them to enhance your educational career.
Starting in the Fall of 2024, students can compete in a SharkTank format (TrinTank) to win REAL money to start or accelerate their small businesses!
What Is the Mentor Program?
Mentorships are invaluable for career advancement and the transfer of knowledge. At Vermeer Studios, we are committed to bridging mentorship connections to further education growth & career advice in students and offer career & business advisory for community members.
As an alumnus of Trinity Christian College, you are connected to a community of Christ-minded individuals who consistently seek out opportunities for Christian impact. Trinity’s Vermeer Studios needs your help to bring Christian expertise and knowledge to current Trinity students, offering them a space to ask career-related questions, receive classroom-specific advice, and much more.
We anticipate a Fall 2024 soft launch of the Mentor Program with Student Mentees only, and we are confident in the ways lives will be impacted through our resourceful Alumni mentors.
Mentors should be accessible, and they will be at Vermeer Studios with your help.
It is our goal and desire to expand the Mentor Program to all members of Vermeer Studios, including students and community members, in 2025. This Program will create an environment filled with Faith-based Mentors and eager-minded individuals looking to become their best selves.
Participating Alumni Mentors will have a professional profile visible to all student mentees, who will have permission to request 30-minute introductory meetings to ask questions and seek project or career advice. Students will be equipped with conversation suggestions, and a pre-screening will ensure that the connection fits both parties.
We hope to receive your support in this new program as we are confident in its impact on the student’s career trajectory and overall education experience.

A curriculum is an essential way to understand what’s next in your business. Whether you have an idea or a business in motion, our incubation and acceleration curriculum will help you understand your business and push it to the next level.
Our two 12-week curriculums will occur once a year at separate times, and workshops will correlate throughout the course to ensure necessary skills are learned and practiced, equipping all entrepreneurs with the resources they need to be successful.
