Bring a Christian perspective
to your science classroom
Chemistry Education
Make a difference with a B.A.
The global community needs dedicated chemistry teachers, who bring a Christian perspective to science classrooms. At Trinity, chemistry is seen through the lens of understanding the Creator, his creation, and our care for it. As part of earning your bachelor of art degree in chemistry education, you will immerse yourself in studies of organic chemistry, physical chemistry, quantitative analysis, and biological and earth sciences. You will also receive a minor in secondary education.
Since Trinity is located just 25 miles from downtown Chicago, you will study in one of the most dynamic science and healthcare hubs in the United States. And with Trinity’s location, you will have a range of classroom environments to conduct your student teaching in, from urban to suburban to rural.
Chemistry education majors are eligible for the Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in science: chemistry at the secondary (9-12) level.
