Trinity Theatre presents: The Crucible by Arthur Miller
November 10, 11, 17, and 18 at 7:30 PM
For tickets, email box.office@trnty.edu or call 708.293.4537
Synopsis:
Arthur Miller’s classic American play, The Crucible, is a semi-historical, dramatized narrative about the Salem Witch Trials which took place in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692 and 1693. The play centers around John Proctor, a man wrestling with doubts about his faith in the Christian Church and burdened by guilt over the romantic affair he had with Abigail Williams seven months prior to the play’s inception. When Abigail leads several young girls in Salem to accuse others of witchcraft, the townspeople become divided. Fear, paranoia, and distrust become rampant, and neighbor turns on neighbor. John’s morality is tested when Abigail ultimately accuses his own wife, Elizabeth, of witchcraft, forcing him to make difficult choices between the protection of his reputation and the redemption of his soul.
Seating is assigned. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.
Run Time: 3 Hours with one 10 minute intermission
Content Advisory: This play discusses themes relating to death, witchcraft, and adultery. The production includes mild profanity, and some stage action includes violence (including one moment of violence with a firearm) and mild intimacy.

Alumni of the men’s basketball program are invited to the first Annual Alumni Legacy Luncheon to gather and honor former players and coaches at Trinity Christian College. This year we are honored to recognize two long-standing former coaches in Terry Ericson (’69-’77) and Gene Fitzgerald (’92-’02) on Saturday, November 4.
The luncheon is free for alumni to attend at 12:00pm, and includes a free t-shirt from the basketball program as we gather, fellowship and share some meaningful memories. Afterwards, the group will head over to the DeVos Gymnasium to cheer on Coach Hawkins and the team at 2:00pm. Spouses and family members are welcome to join you at that time for complimentary passes to the game.
For those coming from out of town, or who want an extra dose of Trolls Basketball, there is also a home basketball game on Friday, November 3 at 8:00pm. Complimentary passes are available to alums and their families for this game as well! You can let us know in the registration if you plan to attend both games.
Trinity invites all education program completers and their families to join us at the Education Commissioning & Celebration to honor and celebrate their accomplishments. This event honors and celebrates the graduates’ accomplishments in their major. The commissioning will take place in the Ozinga Chapel Auditorium with the reception following in the Grand Lobby.
