If you have a passion for math and computers, then Trinity’s minor in computer science will get you ready for your career. The program’s coursework involves elements of programming, data structures and algorithms, analytic geometry and calculus, and probability and statistics.

With this degree, you will be prepared for a career in research or industry, or to continue your studies in graduate school.

When you earn a minor in marketing from Trinity, you will be prepared to practice creativity in business and strategic decision-making in product and services marketing. Your coursework will encompass marketing management, product management, services marketing, and on-line marketing/social media.

To help discern their gifts and calling in the marketplace, many of our students enhance their project-based coursework with internships in downtown Chicago, including through our Chicago Semester.

After the experiences gained through Chicago Semester, students are even more equipped to lead integrated personal, professional, and public lives.

If you have a calling to learn more about how to develop a Christian perspective on the nature of humans, relationships, and institutions, than a minor in sociology from Trinity may be for you. Here, you will study how Christ’s redemption underlies the possibility of social and personal restoration. This perspective will give you a clearer understanding of engagement in social situations and in response to social issues.

We'll prepare you for your career with a B.A.

A B.A. in business from Trinity allows you to explore your multiple talents and passions. As you major in business, you also pursue a minor in another discipline, such as art (including graphic design or digital design) computer science, English, mathematics, psychology, or Spanish. Your minor can come from any academic program that Trinity offers.

The business core courses will provide you with an introduction to accounting, economics, finance, global business, information technology, management, marketing, and strategic management.

A B.S. from Trinity can get you ready

With a B.S. in speech-language pathology from Trinity, you will be prepared for the next stage of your educational journey. And your education won’t be just theoretical. Our students get the opportunity to do serious research, guided by our caring professors. Our location just 25 miles from downtown Chicago means that you will also have the opportunity do internships and gain field experience in a variety of settings.

This degree program is highly interdisciplinary, and your courses will span biology, chemistry, English, mathematics, psychology, and special education.

With a B.S.W. degree from Trinity, you will be prepared to help change lives and communities. Our program emphasizes that community well-being is essential to a common good, that each community has gifts and assets, and that we are called to participate in the life of a community.

With Trinity’s location less than 25 miles from downtown Chicago, you will have the opportunity to fulfil your calling to Christ-like service through many service-learning and field-education experiences. You will interact with a range of people from differing national and ethnic origins, cultures, ages, and economic backgrounds.

Earn your B.A. from Trinity

At Trinity, a B.A. in sports studies will help you develop a love for and appreciation of the bodies and minds the Creator has given us. You will not only earn a degree based on scientific study and research—you will learn from professors who see sports, leisure, and fitness through a biblical lens.

You will take classes that span psychology, physiology, and coaching theory, built on Trinity’s foundation of liberal arts. Along with our rigorous coursework, we have state-of-the-art facilities, including a Human Performance Lab that features a BodPod and VO2max testing. Our BodPod is one of only seven in the entire Chicagoland area, so we can provide incomparable hands-on experience for our students.

With a degree in sports and exercise science studies, you can prepare for a career as a coach, or in therapeutic recreation, church and sport ministry, or recreational sport management. At Trinity, you can augment your major with a range of minors, including special education and business administration.

Our sports and exercise science studies majors who intend to pursue a career directly after graduation may be able to earn their degrees in just 3.5 years.

A degree in Special Education from Trinity is for you

You have a passion to help children who have special needs, and Trinity can get you ready.

When you choose to double major in special education from Trinity, you can pursue another major leading to a second endorsement (elementary, middle grades, a secondary program, or K-12 specialist program). The double major can be completed in four years. Special education is also a stand-alone major that can be combined with another high area of need – English as a Second Language or Bilingual Education. Special education majors also earn an education minor.

Trinity offers a Pre-K to Age 21 licensure with an endorsement in Learning Behavior Specialist I.
