DeJong Center Hosts Annual Education Seminar

Feb 26, 2018
On Saturday, the Alexander DeJong Center for Special Education presented its annual education seminar, with this year’s theme: “Collaboration and the Highly Engaged Classroom.”
This year’s event featured international speaker Susan Hentz, who helped local educators and Trinity pre-service teachers learn how to better engage their learners.
Attendees actively participated in learning about the topics of collaboration and creating a highly engaged classroom atmosphere.
The De Jong Center is a partnership between Trinity and Elim Christian Services, a ministry that exists to equip people with disabilities to achieve their God-given potential by offering person-centered services and partnering with their communities.
